This is the web page for the Machine Learning Group at the Department of Mathematics “Tullio Levi-Civita” of the University of Padova. The group includes professors, researchers, and Ph.D. students. Look at the people who are part of it and the people we work with!
The group is heterogeneous: it is made up of many people with different backgrounds in computer science who tackle various research problems by applying artificial intelligence algorithms. The use of Machine Learning, or more generally, Artificial Intelligence, to solve problems unites the members of this group. Therefore, we are interested in many different research areas, and here you can find a (non-exhaustive) list of some areas of interest.
We are always looking for collaborations and new people who can enrich this group. If you are a master’s or bachelor’s student, we are available to supervise your thesis. Check the project proposals; you may find something you like! If you are interested in a Ph.D. or research fellow position, look at the positions currently open or contact us! On the other hand, if you would like to apply for an internship, this is the right place!
